It's nice to know how

It's nice to know how competent my local police force is. They spent all kinds of time trying to catch this bank robber, who during the chase broke into two houses, then stole and wrecked a police car. They took him to the hospital, where (my emphasis):

Kenneth Lee Brown was allowed to go into a rest room at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center while he was handcuffed.

Spartanburg police Capt. Billy Norris said Brown climbed into the ceiling and had not been recaptured. Norris said officers weren't sure how long Brown had been missing.

Police called in additional officers and hospital security searched the building, and Norris said authorities were sure he was not inside.

An employee reported that her purse and personal belongings were missing, and Norris said Brown is accused of taking them.

I need to move. Soon.
