On How to Meet Women
Michael Damsky, a student at the University of Central Florida, had an ingenius plan to meet girls. He decided to set fire to a couch in the women’s dorms, in hopes of meeting the women as their building was evacuated.
The plan was less successful than you might think: Orange County police arrested the man for arson.
So, here’s a question for you: What is the most interesting way that you’ve encountered for meeting people of the opposite sex?
For example, I had a friend who was one of the two male interior design students, and I’m pretty sure his motivation had more to do with his classmates than his coursework.

When I was in college, some girls employed the “just happen to be in the vicinity” method — when they wanted to meet someone in particular, they’d learn when he got out of a certain class and would just be there, hoping maybe the guy would see them and walk with them to their next class. I don’t know that that had a high success rate, though.

A friend of my roommate my freshman year was in the computer labs when the girl next to him was having trouble printing. He volunteered his help and then immediately asked her out to artist series. Mind you, he had never even seen, much less ever met, this girl before.
