Gay Marriage

I know, I know, everyone is talking about gay marriage. I'll not spend long on the subject. The government shouldn't give out marriage licenses to gays. Neither should the government give marriage licenses to heterosexuals.

What business does the government defining what marriage is? That's the realm of religion and personal morality.

None of the government's business.

Interesting thoughts, Jeremy.

I'm another BJU grad, who thinks the government should stay out of people's bedroom's. Also, there's such a thing as separation of church and state. A constitutional amendment preventing gays from marrying would mean the government was forcing the relious views of some upon everyone in the United States. It'd also be the first time the US constitution had been altered to restrict the civil rights of Americans. What a sad day that would be.

I wonder, could you share on your blog some of the thoughts being presented at BJU these days on this issue?
